CEOs of Kalshi and Polymarket are backing a new $35 million venture capital fund called 5(c) Capital, focused on prediction markets. The fund is launched by former Kalshi employees.

5(c) Capital aims to support startups in the prediction market sector. Despite their rivalry, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour and Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan are both investing in the fund. Other notable investors include Marc Andreessen and Ribbit Capital founder Micky Malka. Kalshi has confirmed Mansour's investment, while Polymarket has not commented.
