Sindh's Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, Muhammad Ali Malkani, has initiated a province-wide vaccination campaign to protect livestock from diseases. The campaign was inaugurated at the Government Veterinary Hospital in Landhi Cattle Colony.
The Pre-Monsoon Vaccination Programme 2026–27 aims to enhance animal health and support the economy, according to Malkani. He acknowledged the challenges faced by traders and farmers and promised to engage stakeholders for sustainable solutions. Despite Punjab's larger livestock sector, Malkani emphasized Sindh's commitment to achieving strong results with limited resources.
